LED

It's a brighter future.
You have no doubt heard that LED lighting provides substantial benefits to your commercial or industrial buildings and properties. These improvements often can be made utilizing the existing infrastructure, but a redesign can also provide even greater benefits. The bottom line is, that decision is up to you.  Whether it is a planned capital expenditure, or you would like to investigate zero out-of-pocket options, IVAD CCG can propose the design and manage the install that meets your needs.

      LED Site Assessment Process
  • 1. Determination of Scope

Determine the specific requirements, and detail a complete understanding of what the lighting design is intended to achieve, including:

    • Illumination required for task or process requirements.  The Illuminating Engineer Society (IES) has established foot-candle ranges for current luminance, or the photometric measure of the luminous intensity per foot-candle travelling in a given direction, and falls within a given angle.  Individual applications will determine exact foot-candle levels.
    • Dimensions (area and volume) and shape of the space
    • Optimum light placement based on square-footage
    • Shapes, impedances, angles of space, and objects or space to be highlighted or hidden
    • Directionality of light
    • Elimination of glare
    • Desired mood
    • Interaction of natural light
    • Minimized energy consumption
    • Minimized impact on the environment and ourselves
    • Minimized light trespass

  • 2. LED Lighting Layout

Determine the lighting fixture layout, making sure quality, quantity, safety, and maintainability are properly considered in the final design.  It is also imperative that the fixtures, wiring, and bulbs themselves meet the specifications

  • 3. LED Selection

Determine the lighting fixture layout, making sure quality, quantity, safety, and maintainability are properly considered in the final design.  It is also imperative that the fixtures, wiring, and bulbs themselves meet the specifications

  • 4. Verification of Calculations

Verify the calculations to ensure that based on the final design, your lighting requirements are met

  • 5. Compliance

Verify lighting meets compliance with state and local ordinances

  • 6. Internet of Things (IoT)

Determine how IoT  feature/functionality (dimmers, motion-detectors, etc.) will be employed in the design

  • 7. Proposal Development

IVAD CCG works with our licesensed, insured, and certified engineers to develop an accurate solution design and proposal

  • 8. Solution Presentation

Present the proposal with the monthly cost-reduction and break-even analysis for capital budget installations, and monthly cost-reduction for leasing or Lighting-as-a-Service solutions.  You sign.
